Raw Honeycomb

What a special treat - raw honey right in the comb! Kids and adults alike enjoyed this one. We found a small spoonful after supper to be the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Other ways of enjoying are to melt a slice on toast or pancakes. A healthy topping for oatmeal or yogurt. A gourmet addition to your next cheese board.

This fabulous honey comes from an experienced and conscientious bee-keeper just a few miles from our farm. The first thing you notice about the honey, is the gorgeous amber color. The flavor is mild and utterly delicious. It is certified naturally grown (CNG) which means it was produced "by working in harmony with nature, without relying on synthetic chemicals or GMOs." The honey is also "sustainably harvested" meaning the beekeeper is careful to leave enough honey for the bees so they can make it through the winter on their own stored honey, resulting in a healthier hive and a healthier ecosystem.
